Instructions for Fall Festival
Please send entries on the Fall Festival Entry Form. Entries will not be accepted past the deadline date! Unlimited entries. Students who received Superior ratings in the 2008 Young Artist Auditions are not eligible.
A check for the total amount for entrants from your studio must accompany the entry blank. Never send checks from parents. Fee is $10.00 per entry.
Send both the entry sheet(s) and the check to the chairman. Also, complete a Judge's Sheet (provided for duplication) for every entry and include the sheets with the entry form and check. Please make note of any brother/sister entries for ease in scheduling.
Try to make schedule changes only within your studio and notify the chairman.
All students receiving a Superior (1) Rating from the Judge will perform on the Honors Recitals. Please indicate on the registration form if you have a preference for recital time.
Expect the auditions to begin around 8:30 a.m. and end at approximately 1:00 p.m.
Expect to help at the auditions in some manner or send someone in your place, with approval of the chairman.
Instruct students to arrive 10 minutes early and bring music with measures numbered. No photocopies are allowed.
Repertoire suggestions: Piano selections should be a minimum of 16 measures, and Vocal selections should be an art song.
