Initiated by the Public Performance Committee
Students should report to the recital director at least 10 minutes before the recital begins.
Teachers may present private pupils only in the teaching areas for which they are listed.
Entries should be sent to the recital director
by the published deadline.
The decision concerning duplication of numbers on one program will be left to the director. No substitutions may be made after the program has been printed.
Performers are expected to exhibit proper stage decorum. After performing, the student should step forward and bow to the audience.
Dress code: Students should wear attire appropriate for church. Girls should wear dresses or pants outfits; boys should wear dress shirts and slacks; no jeans or tennis shoes.
The names of all teachers having students participating in any one or all of the Fall Festival Honors Recitals and Young Artist Concerts will be listed at the end of each recital program.
Students, parents, and teachers are expected to observe rules of polite concert etiquette and remain in their seats until the end of the recital. No pictures should be taken during the performance. Cell phones and beepers should be turned off or set to silent. Recital directors should advise the audience of these expectations.
