MUSIC AWARDS

Funds for these summer music camp scholarships come from excess funds from the Fall Festival and Young Artist events held each calendar year. Amount given will be determined by the amount available and number of applicants. Committee could choose to give in increments of $50 or $100. Deadline to apply: May 1st to the Scholarship Chairman.

GUIDELINES FOR CAMP AWARD :

1. Student Affiliate Member

2. Pass Theory Test for current school year

3. Selected Performer in Fall Festival or Young Artist of current year

4. One page essay written by student (see application form)

5. Specify camp (check will be made out to camp)

SENIOR AWARDS

Funds for Senior Awards come from interest earned from various CDs and unused funds from earlier years.

Application Guidelines for Senior awards of $50.00:

1. Student Affiliate Member

2. Passed Theory Test (past 3 years)

3. List Music Activities

Deadline for Returned Application is March 15th, to the SA Chairman. Awards presented at Young Artist recital.

Application Guidelines for Scholarships for Music Majors:

1. Student Affiliate Member

2. Pass Theory Test (past 3 years)

3. List Music Activities

4. Include copy of College Music Acceptance Letter

5. Write short essay about plans in music

Deadline for Returned Applications is May 1st to Scholarship Chairman.
